HEI Distubuter Questions V6

Does anyone know positively that the V6 HEI from a Front wheel drive the same as a RWD car??

I have a good one from a rear wheel v6 plus it has the higher voltage coil.if you need it.

I have a non intercooled V6 (83) now and I have an extra fwd dist I was wondering in case I needed a spare thanks
