Hi to all of you pros.
My forum ignorant buddy has a 2000 Buick Century with a tranny problem.
ODBII error codes 0751, 0758
P0751 1-2 Shift Solenoid Valve Performance
P0758 Shift Solenoid B Electrical
The symptoms are: no 4th gear (OD) sometimes. He also reports a clunking sometimes on turns (the clunk sounds like a possible different motor mount problem to me).
Looked up the possible parts, and it seems possible that it could be
ACDELCO Part # 24219819 VALVE,1-2,3-4 SHFT SOL w/4-SPD A/TRANS(M15)
ACDELCO Part # 24227747 VALVE,TCC Pulse Width Modulation Solenoid w/4-SPD A/TRANS(M15)
He was told it may be a wiring short
What do you PROS think it is?????
