I just bought a really nice 87 Gn and I need a little help from you guys. I have been reading this board for a long time but since I just bought the car 2 days ago I never posted until now. I bought the car beacause I see you guys having so much fun I though I would join in.

The car has a very nice chrome or polished stainess tube that runs into the throttle body. The problem is that it has a 7th injector plumbed in and is not hooked up anymore. It looks so bad I would like to get a new pipe to replace that one.

Does anyone know where to get a new one from and what that pipe is called? I know this is a stupid question but please understand I have never owned a GN before and this is all new to me.

Thanks. I really enjoy reading all the posts on this board.

Norm:)

Welcome,

Many of the vendors on this board sell them. Also go to www.GnType.org has a list of vendors and a wealth of knowledge to read. Read it and ask questions here before you do anything. (do a search first of your question) I spent a fortune on crap before I Knew about this board and the GNTYPE.The guys here are always willing to help. No such thing as a stupid question. Make sure you do the basic mods first, listed at GnType.org.
Have fun and be prepared to become addicted.

John

Its called an inlet pipe or "up pipe".
You can get them for $30-$50 new depending on stainless/chrome. Many vendors sell them.
You can also browse the for sale sectionhere for a used one.

go to gnttype.org and check out the "spring cleaning" under the
maintainence section. good luck and enjoy your new ride !!

Thanks for the help. can someone recommend a vendor they have faith in that stocks one.

thanks

Norm
