As the title says. With my car parked this winter. i have it up on jackstands with the tranny and driveshaft out of it. I bought 3 cans of Brake cleaner and I have been underneath doing my own little mini restoration. I bought some Por15 a couple years ago that I have left in my bedroom closet. The brake cleaner did a good job cutting the grease. But I damn near blacked out because of the smell. What have you guys that are anal like myself done to prep your floors? I want this to turn out mint, but I have never done such a task before.
After I tackle that I would like to do the same with the rear end. But what do you use to clean and repaint this with?

Walk me through step by step proceedures from products you like to use down to the way you like to see a job like this done.

Its a fun job underneath thats for sure, I recently did the underneath of my GN with Por15, But my car was never winter driven with a slight surface rust on some areas from being in a cement garage, (my car only has 14600km on it so it was not dirty at all)

Make sure you use the products all made for prepping the Por15, you have the degreaser and metal prep then the por 15, prep is key for this stuff to work, I did my car bottom on a hoist and that took all day, but in the end it was worth it, Prep is key!
