Hello i dont have the kirbin remover tool but i have a nonthing spring took can someone give me a point on removing it im not sure what to do?

Not sure about your tool... but I made mine... bolted to where the rocker shafts bolted up. Used a modified el cheapo SBC chevy in car spring compressor (fancy lever) that attached to my plate... and did all mine. You can use compressed air to keep the valves closed.... or cotton.. or any soft rope... fill the cylinder... and roll over by hand until it kinda locks up... then change that cylinders springs.... then rotate engine backwards some.. remove rope from cylinder... and go to the next one.... #6 is a #$%^!&^% I had to use a mirror to get the keepers back on.

Hi,
Best to have the right tools on hand. I will tell you that, as a professional, the Kirban tool gave me a few fits! However, without it, the k&d stuff is not going to do it.Expect several hours of cussin' and very exacting work. Air is a mandatory item, because rope or whatever is probably gonna get you into trouble. Give every retainer a whack with the hammer and 1" socket before removal to loosen the keepers.A high power magnet is also a good idea. LOTS of light is mandatory! Have fun!
