i got the vacum lines like it should but it would sputter out and die then my friend came and did a bunch of crasy **** and this is what he is telling me. my egr is no good no more i guess it leaks air he but something to block it and bolted it down said i should put a plate to block it is it true or possible? he started plugging all the vacumm lines and **** i think he even messed with the screw on the throttle body to put the rpms up. i was gettin pissed but he insisted... he also said my wastegate actuator was no good and that it ran better so the exhaust could get out he said it should open and close all it does is keep it closed and he turned the throttle position sensor a little and it ran better someone please help cause im getting worried about what he did to my car............. so he says i need a new throttle position sensor,, wastegate actuator and that i should block the egr and then put all the vacum lines like i had.

does any of this sound about right? why would my egr and throttle position sensor need to be moved or changed when there exactly how i left them when i redid my heads? from my understanding if the actuator works il feel boost and when i drove the car id give it gas and id feel ok acceleration then like a second later felt the power so i dont think anything is wrong but he did keep the car from shaking like crasy and shutting off so maybe the TPS is bad but he moved it a little by undoing the screws and turning it and it ran much better. i wanna make sure cause the part is 200 bucks

Sounds like your friend is guessing and shooting from the hip. Post you modifications in your signature and let us know if you have a scan tool. Brad

Yeah, definately get a scan tool. It may have been someting as simple as readjusting the tps.

This shold be easy. I would start with the turbo oil drain tube first. Brad
