i seen the poly mounts on different gn and tta sites for 300 some $ but what do you guys think about these energy suspension ones from auto zone for 46.99 for the pair?

I would go to Napa or Carquest. I would use the strap as well. Most people will say get the poly mounts and be done with it. My buddy uses them and I don't like the vibration but they work well.

No, poly's would not give false knock.

I have poly mounts on my TTA and they will give you more vibration throughout the car but the motor is not going anywhere. You can get stock mounts at just about any auto parts store, they will more than likely be made by Anchor products. You just need to get a set for a GN as they probably will not list them for a TTA. If I am not mistaken you will need to grind off a very small piece of material on the passenger side mount so it will fit flush. There are posts about this on the boards if you do a search.

If you are wanting some poly mounts I am planning to swap mine out for stockers. Its just too much vibration for my taste. Hit me up if you are interested.
