Using 93 octane gas is it possible that my car is quicker with the Thrasher 100 running 14 lbs. of boost vs running the Thrasher 92 with 16.5 lbs. of boost? Just going by seat of the pants gauge. Thanks, R.B.

I've always wondered too if it's better to run low boost and more timing or high boost and less timing. Does it depend on your setup? Like a stock turbo would benefit from more timing since it's less efficient at high boost while an upgraded turbo is better at higher boost so less timing is preferred.

If you don't get a bog for being too rich down low, my money would be on the 100, until it shifts into 3rd. If it doesn't get knock at that point, it will even run away from the 92. If it does get knock...well, you wouldn't want that.

When I first got my car, I used a very high timing chip and low Boost (I left my actuator stock) It ran the equivalent of high 12's like this (I only ran 1/8th mile). It would be great until the 2-3 shift. When I got knock, I just added a gallon or 2 of leaded race gas to the tank and that took car of the problem.
