I was planning on running 16. I do eventually want to run alky but hear the stock turbo can start running out of steam above 22lbs. My eventual goal is a reliable 400 wheel. Think that should be safely attainable. Will need to go up on the turbo though.

Put an alcohol injection system on the car and max out that stock turbo. Go bigger turbo when you want more than the stocker can make, which will probably happen. Boost is addictive.

I’m really thinking I’d be happy with 400 wheel….. but car guys know how that goes. I’m thinking at some point pick up a nice C3 and drop a whole new drivetrain in it and make that the monster.

A more efficient IC isn't enough. I tried that. You will spend about $1K & still have to turn it down.

Buy the Alky kit, or 100+ octane race fuel. Those are your options.
