I'm not sure if this is typical but my boost has went up since I installed my new chip. I had the boost set at 15lbs and the car wouldn't get much above that with my race chip. Then I had Eric burn me a new chip for street runing 15-16lbs. I just got the chip installed and took her out for a spin. After driving her for 10-20mins I got into the throttle a little bit and she pulled strong. The on the way home I got in the throttle and stayed there while checking out the boost...she was right on the 20lb mark! The car seem to run really well but I don't want my boost up that high. My boost controller is called RJ I think and I use a stock aste gate puck. I checked my vaccum hoses and no cracks. Now the accuator rod is missing the little C-clip but not sure if that would effect it with me using a boost controller.
High boost with new chip?

There is never enough boost :biggrin: But I'm runing on pump gas and no Alky kit
I need to get a new clip for the waste gate rod and see if that helps. It maybe poping off and not bleeding off the extra boost.
