high idle

i was just wondering why my car would have such a high idle it runs at least 2000 rpms in park but as soon as i shift to drive it goes down to normal idle ive tried loosening the idle screw on the throttle body and it doesnt help at all. Any ideas??

What voltage is your tps reading at idle?

TPS and throttle stop most likely not adjusted correctly. Do you have a scan tool?
