So I built a volt booster using this article:

I have it relayed off of a hobbs switch. Power comes off the battery and is fused. Whe I tried it my 30A fuse on the power wire blew. Any ideas as to why? I need to go back and double check my wiring, but when I kick on the relay through the hobbs switch the wire that goes to the S terminal puts out 2.2 less volts, so it appears like I did it right. It only blows a fuse if I connect it to the alt.
