My intention with my '84 6.0 turbo project is to keep the LC2 look. Mounting the turbo in close to the stock location and using the Holley EFI LS Single Plane Mid-Rise Intake Manifold 300-137 with an elbow. I realize low end torque will suffer with the single plane but don't see one in dual plane, unless a carb intake is modified for efi. My concern is hood clearance with the elbow. Is anyone running a similar setup with the stock hood? If so, what elbow did you use?
I am using stock style Monte frame pads, UMI clamshells, and Car Shop 1" setback plate.
thanks,
jack
