Hood latch (interior) release cable nuts

Can someone please tell me how the interior hood latch release cable is secured to the driver footwell? I need to see the nuts that go on to the studs/threads. It is held on by 2 nuts, 1 on top and 1 on bottom

I need to know how this piece is connected to the body. It has 2 small studs protruding from the driver footwell. When I redid my carpet I took the nuts off and am trying to find out what was used to secure it.
