Hood pad

Hi Guys. I have a 1987 GN and the hood pad is worn from the heat from the turbo. Any ideas on how to make it look better? There are a few NOS hood pads on E bay but too expensive for me. Any ideas? Please let me know. Thanx Ed

Get a better deal if you know a GM guy and use his number. But they have about 80 left . They are the all black without the turbo 6 logo & the Buick turbocharged silk screen.
