hood spring

Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who sells a stainless steel hood pop up spring? I don't want a painted steel one.

I've never heard of spring steel that was stainless. You might be thinking of a chrome plated one. Southeast Turbo has them:
Buick, turbo buick, grand national, ttype, gnx, 3.8, regal, 84-87

Look at a 3rd generation Trans Am. My wife had an 88TA and I switched hood springs with hers and got a shiny one!
