Hood won't open

Can anyone tell me how to get the hood to pop up. The cable feels loose or disconnected.

happen to me twice, i had to go thru the grill and remove the two hood latch bolts

THis may help as it has helped me a couple of times...Once you pop the latch, tap the top of the hood LIGHTLY. For me it popped up right away, Hope thats it!!!, Oh once it is up use WD-40 on the cable mechanism to lube it up!!!

You can also try slamming either the DS or PS door, hey, it worked for me one time

Hood now opens !!

Thanks for all the responses, I had a friend pull on the cable while I tapped on the hood and bingo, it popped open !!!

I put grease on all release points and now its all good...
