hooking up DS tomorrow morning???

hello guys, I am going to hook my DS up tomorrow morning, how much info will actually be useful from a idle? I am going to hook my desktop up under my car-port. I write down the info and post it, hopefully you guys can help me out, and tell me what to look for. I just want to see how my car is running.
Any suggestions are welcome. If anyone is wondering why the desktop, its b/c my laptop screen wont brighten up.

Idle information won't help all that much. You can set your TPS and IAC but the information you REALLY want will come from a WOT run. Do a search for 386 laptops on Ebay....$30 will find one for you.
