Hey guys... going to try and hook up my aux box I got for the Innovate LM-1 wideband O2 sensor/dataloger. It has an input for RPM. What is the easiest place to get the RPM to hook to the aux box? I was hoping that a pin on the ECM I could tap into would be sufficient. I know there is connector behind the alternator that supposedly is a tach signal too.....

Any thoughts?

I have the rpm cable, not the aux box, but I tapped into the crank sensor (+ or hi) wire at the ecm connector. Also tapped into the tps wire at the ecm, and the map wire in the connector to the right of the glove box, and put a 3 bar map in place of the stock 2 bar one. That way I get map, rpm, tps, and O2 with the lm-1, and everything else with direct scan, and I can use the rpm and tps signals to align the two traces.

according to Eric(Taffy) of B&E where I got mine.....Hook a wire to the tach lead behind the alternator...I havent tried yet on mine to see how it'd work...

Hopefully I will hook it up tonight. I had some left over "honey do's" from deer season I was catching up on.

All this is building for a track trip soon... maybe next weekend if weather permits.
