Hooking up trans cooler, dif optoins?

I've got an AC Platlett style Tranny cooler I bought a few yrs back for my GN and never put in. Gonna put it in the Limited this wk. How have some of you guys done it w/out cutting/hackin up the stock tranny lines. Get a union w/a small lenght of line and use hose clamps to the rubber line or what? Is the line 7/16 or 1/2"?

5/16" existing line I believe.

I just put the rubber line over the existing flared end and double clamped it. No cutting or hacking is needed.
