Has anyone compared the MT ET Streets to the Hoosier Quick Time Pro? I am considering the 28x11.5x15 size mounted on Amer. Racing Torque Thrust II 8" wheels. How do they handle/track on the street? How do these compare to the BFG drag radial as far as 60'? Thanks.

I have used 'em both and neither is worth a crap on the street...they'll get you to the track & back, but that's about it....they both hook ok and wear about the same

Thanks Woody. I edited my message since you replied. Do you have any experience with the BFG drag radial?

the drag radials will drive better...as far as hooking at the track...there is NO comparison i had 275 60 15 DR's on my 8.5 convo pro's...anything over 4 psi on the launchwas tire smoke!...now I have M/T 28 11.50 15 ET streets...thursday i had a 1.62 60' with a 10 psi launch...then the header or x over pipe gave out...oh well later joe:mad:

yeah, I use the BFG 275X60 DR as my street tire.......useless at the track, but ok on the street...handles like a real radial, has decent traction, but wears out in about 5000 miles....bottom line, there really isn't a tire that will give you the best of everything....all are compromises, so you have to decide what you can deal with....one thing is certain, real slicks work better than anything else at the track!

Nitto DR's wear a little longer on the street......got about 10K out of a set....not much good at the track tho and they don't make a 28" tire yet.....

good luck!
