Everything would have been easier if he was put down right at the theater. Mentally insane or cold hearted killer sometimes it best for everyone if they are eliminated immediately. Especially when they are in the middle of doing the deed.

To many bleeding hearts that think they are helping these cowards. Who plan attacks on unarmed people in a place where they know they won't be shot back at and then carryout that plan killing multiple people and injuring a lot of others. These people like Holmes are not crazy they know exactly what they are doing and then use the mental sickness as a defense.

If those 3 jurors who voted against the death penalty for him. Think Holmes wouldn't have tried to kill them if they had been in that theater that night maybe they have mental problems.

No reason to keep this scumbag alive for the rest of his life,taking care of him and spending a small fortune while doing it. I'm sure there are a lot more deserving people in this country that could use the money they are going to waste on him.
