Im heading to the track tomorrow and going for low 10,s with razors kit;) Im not going to go to crazy with the boost and timing the first time to the track:D 92 octane 20 Deg timing and 24-25# boost to see if that gets me 10.2 - 10.4 and over the 130mph mark... The car has run a best of 10.65 on 20 Deg timing and 16# boost so i think it should :) My motor is getting a little on the loose side (piston noise) from 4 years of street and track beatings so i hope it lives ;)

Good luck brother... we are all pulling for ya.

baby steps.. get your passes in one small step at a time.. call me if there's anything I can do.

Go get em ;)

Well i took it for a street blast before putting it on the trailer to haul it up to Canada. The car will not hold ANY boost, i will at least see how it MPH,s:( Brakes are adjusted up and still not even 3# boost:rolleyes: I refuse to put a transbrake in the car because the shock load is to hard on parts for me:D

Geno
Adjusting did help some but I was concerned about the drag. Try pulling off your rear drums and scuff up the pads and drums with some sandpaper. I had lost the ability to hold boost at the line also and this worked for me.
Looking to hear your results. Would like to know if you had to change your target A/F ratio. That has been my only concern with a FAST system. (Will fuel be pulled to compensate for the added alky? What would be a perfect alky/gas ratio?) With the stock ECM cars it is not a problem and they run great. In theory FAST should work better but it would just take some tuning. My alky system is only 90 percent installed and have not gotten to the tuning yet. Good luck
Phil

So how did she run Geno or maybe a more important question.... is she still running?? ;) :D

The car went 10.32 @135 mph with a 1.6 60ft:rolleyes:
The 60ft is off but the MPH is good;) Im going to try it agian in the morning:cool:

Nice!!!:)

135mph is enough for a 9 second pass (with a 1.4x - 1.3x 60') so I think it's safe to say Julio's alky kit is 9 second capable as long as you have enough motor to get there:D

So is this the fastest one of Razor's

kits has gone? Is there anyone running 9's on alky?

Way to go Geno....I wish I could have gone with you.

Bill

Just a note to let you know that I forgot to tell you that I am posting for Geno.
Pat and myself are here with the Fleurys ..
He just went 10.15 @136.09 mph with a 60 ft time of 1.492.
He was happy.. :D

10.15 @136.09 mph with a 60 ft time of 1.492

:D Congrats Geno...

On 91 octane... imagine if he had 93 octane

Wow!!!

Geno is da man and Julio is okay:D ;)

Seriously though congrats to Geno for running those awesome #'s on pump gas/alky and congrats to Julio for making a badass alky kit:)

haha Wanda....

You are getting too much sun!!! First you post under your name and sound like Gene, then you post under his name and sound like yourself (Wanda)!!! :D :D :D

BTW Geno, I guess you will not be buying anymore C16 now huh? ;)

You need to be in Memphis this weekend for the Hot Rod Pump Gas shootout. Supposed to have 50 of the fastest pump gas "street" cars around going for the crown.. (They were selected from entries from the mag. ) Sounds like you'd be a player..

3600# with me in it:)
I just didnt get enough passes loged to lean the middle of the fuel map out more and smooth the timing map out:( I know the car would have hit a 9 if it would have spooled faster. My 60ft were not as good as i wanted because my brakes wouldnt hold much boost. The car was lazy about 10ft out but it was getting there.... Oh well at least i didnt hurt it:D

Haha Bill..
It sucks to post something with a phone modem.. everything takes five minutes to load, so I think we're just using whatever user is on my laptop. Thats what has kinda been happening LOL .. We have been doing this between rounds. There is no login or logoff in here, so whoever logs in on my laptop is on it. I'm not sure how to switch from one user to another, unless you go through registration.
Hey, either way you guys got the message ;) This may happen from time to time, we're friends.. so we will try and post to you guys when we can.. I'm gonna try to bring my laptop to every race.
Hey it doesn't matter, anyways, we all had a great time, even little Slash, he made a lot of friends.. Robin and I are proud of both the boys, they did a great job.

Congrats,

I really need to get back to Washington. This is no fair, you can't have all the fun out there without me.

Now if I could only get the engines back in the buick and the typhoon coming back west might be an option.

hehe....

Thanks for the updates Gene, and great times Wanda!....wait, now you got me all confused!!! ;)

Just kidding Wanda, thanks for keeping us posted....I just wished I was there to have some fun with you guys. Plus I miss your mocha's!

Geno, thats AWESOME dude! I'd have never guessed that 91 octane could get you 10's, or 136 mph...

Out of curiousity, are you running a F.A.S.T. / DFI setup?
