they dont make "hot air" alky kits. You just get an alky kit that is designed for the gn, or ta, whichever. But you need to have upgraded to some 86,87 parts first.
Mike84, like fbodlovr said they don't make a kit just for hot airs unless you do it yourself. You can go to http://www.alkycontrol.com/ which I have heard is by far the best alky kit. I asked at one time and I think all that was changed to use it on a hot air was a few longer lines. Not to mention you really need to do the 87 ECM swap so you can get an alky chip from Eric at www.turbotweak.com
The above information is not true. I know of three or more HotAirs with SMC alky kits made for them. They're the same as for an 86/87 except the s.s. line is longer and it comes with a valve to keep the alky tank from being sucked dry. Contact Steve at SMC for details as these were the older style kits but I bet He'd seel the valve and line still.
Go to Alkycontrol an call Julio Don. He will set you up and assist with the install. I being a CPA was able to install the kit with no problems. Julio returns all phone calls as well. My alky kit is not operating yet because of intake and head work which is in process. Brad
