Good read.........my only ? would be, if you got the nozzle too close to the comp. wheel, would it have a "sandblast" effect on it.....in other words, if the alchy hadn't atomized with the air yet.....clear as mud ?

ever seen anyone experiment with putting nozzles in the bottom of the intake where the plugs are?

Many moons ago, I thought about doing that.
Never did, and, glad I took to Razor’s advice - KISS :D

With a non-progressive system and multiple nozzles, there is value in doing that.
With the development of the single nozzle progressive system, there is little value going this route.
Remember, you still have to inspect and/or service the nozzles, from time to time.
 
I wonder if a long pipe can be made to connect the turbo to the intake then stagger the nozzles one at the entry, one at the exit. :D
