Hot Air Car upgrades

Recently just bought an 84 t type. I know that this unit is a hat air car, and adding an intercooler is costly for what you get out of it.
What are some things that I can do to the car to add some power without going crazy? Just want to wake it up a bit. What turbos are available for a hot air car? I know the list is much shorter than it is for an intercooled car.

You can do some good things with a hot air. There is an 86-87 ECM conversion available. Depending on where you live, you can convert to E85 fuel or get an alcohol injection kit. Change the car over to an 86-87 electric fan. Go to the Hot Air section here and check out the stickys at the top of the forum. Prepare to spend at least $1,000 - $1,500 to get the right basics.
