I have been searching for a DP Flange for my Turbo. I picked one up that they said was for a GN / T-Type but it doesnt fit.

As you can see not all of the holes line up. Now I assume this is because the turbo i have is from the 84/85 cars and that flange is for the 86/87 Turbos? The man I bought this one from is taking it back and I am sending him my Turbine Housing so he can make the correct one. Would anyone else be interested in purchasing one? He has no problems cutting me one out but since he will now have the pattern I figured I could help make it worth his while.

The 84-85 and 86-87 turbos have the same housing. Bottom line it is just the wrong flange. How thick is that flange anyway. I'd like one but it needs to be @ least 3/4" thick That is the standard for aftermarket down pipes. Also what about cost.

This is where my question about the Hot side being different. see my ID this Turbo Thread. Notice the very obvious hump on the flange. Thats how all GN Hot Sides ive ever seen look. Notice how my elbow does not have that hump. Thats why im wonderign what the Turbine is off of?

That one is 3/8th but he can do them in 1/2in or 3/4in if needed ill check on pricing for those. The 3/8th is $30 shipped.

I'm no expert but the Buick turbos use a Buick only bolt pattern flange. Maybe yours is for a Ford?

I agree with turbofish38. My 85 turbo elbow matchs an 89 TTA. It should match the 86/87 turbo elbow bolt pattern as well. My 2 cents. Brad
