Im looking for a set of new or used exhaust headers for my 84. Can anyone tell me who sells them or rebuilds them. Mine are real tired since they have been welded before and now iam tring to weld them for the last time:mad: .

I don't work for poston or anything like that, but those headers are worth it imo. Their the only one who makes them for us now, their ceramic coated, they easily clear all stock componets and are direct bolt on, they work with the stock up pipe, they are clearly a better flowing header just with side by side comparison. I would call ahead and request the welds be inspected before shipment, get a name too. I would recomend their 2 piece crossover also, and use a band clamp, don't weld it,... to help prevent cracks in the future. I'm sure you may get other opinions, but what has worked well for me I'm hoping will work well for someone else.

but yaa, that is alot of money though

I recently purchased a used set-6 months old--and when I received them the passenger side has a crack (I was told there were no cracks-so much for buyer beware) on the uppipe (to turbo) that I will need to weld up--is this normal for Poston headers??

It is a luck of the draw with these headers. I have a set and had to have them welded up after 25,000 miles. There is no other opion though. Brad

Postons headers

Purchased my headers on the bay.
Problem was the fit of the up pipe..stock & aftermarket unit. Talked to Tony at Postons & he suggested to loosen the turbo & jocky its position to accomadate the up pipe fit to the header. No fit here also
Finally, had to cut & section the brand new up pipe to get the thing to fit without leaks or strain on the turbo.
Just another PIA in the HA turbo world

i just got done welding up the pass side and now the driver side is cracked around the #2 cyl. i think i might talk to my welder buddies and see if we can make a set of SS ones.
