Hot Air upgrade

I am restifying my 1984 Buick Regal T-type that has 52K original miles. It currently has poly urethane bushings in the front, Hotchkiss setup(upper/lower/joint bar) in the rear. I am getting ready to pull the engine and tranny to freshen it up. The only mods I have done since owning it is: 3" downpipe, 3" in/out cat, Hooker Cat back exhaust. To be truthfully honest, I ran mid to high 14's with it at Albuquerque, NM and that was with the non posi rear end, smoking the heck out of the right tire! I bought the car with 31K original miles from the original owner. I am in the military, so needless to say, the car sat on blocks on a few occassions (1997-2001). Any suggestions for mods to the motor and tranny? This car has been the most reliable vehicle I have owned to date, so I want to keep it that way! I do want some more horsepower though!
