Yeah, I know that sounds stupid but I'm running an external wastegate and the old boost solenoid is the box you can never find. Not a problem with the extender chip but it sets a code on the others. Of course I need to get it inspected this month so I can't run the extender (no egr). So I've got three wires just hanging there and need to find out if there is a way to hook 'em or ground one to keep the check engine light from coming on when the ecm is looking for a signal from the solenoid. I'd prefer not to burn the GN to the ground of course, at least not today. Thanks.

If you wanted to be sneaky... just hook it back up and put a plug inside the line.... it just bleeds to atmosphere..... to the untrained eye..... it will look fully functional. You could T into any of the manifold vacuum lines.

Try a 100 ohm 1/2 or 1 watt resistor accross the wastegate solenoid wires.

That would be the pink/blk and the purple/wht, use a weather pak connector from Pep Boys for the stealth look.

My solenoid only has 2 wires?

I must be looking at the wrong thing. Out of that section of wiring two wires plug into the red square thingy with the vacumn ports. That's still there. Three wires plug into something else that, on my car, is no longer there. I was thinking that piece was the boost solenoid since that's what code gets set when you get into boost. Hmmm.
