How 2 check 4 bad TCC or brake switch?

Having problem with converter not locking any more. Bought 911 from a friend and the manual lu switch worked fine for a few times but then stopped working. I was thinking about possible bad TCC or brake switch.

What is the best way to test either of these?

Any other thoughts on cause?
