 I can't come close to that in my T (2psi).

Does a race chip make that much of a diff in inital spool up?

Next weekend I will be trying a thrasher 108R chip for the first time, hope it helps.

I don't think a race chip would have a difference, however, a properly tuned chip can have a great difference. If you are too rich on the bottom it is hard to build boost. I used to build 10# -12# with my stock convertor and stock turbo. Once I switched to a TE-44 I couldn't build over 2#. ( my track is at 5800') A looser 12" convertor and Thunder Fab intercooler really helped then.

10-12psi, I'd be happy with 6 or 7:( .

I Just tried it out in the driveway before and after correct chip and no diff:mad: 2-3 psi and just about to break a motor mount before the tires went up in smoke.

I can't find any exh leaks before the turbo.

Thats some real good mph for a 44!

Tires and air pressure make a big difference. If I'm on street tires I can only hold about 3 lbs before they spin but on slicks @ 13lbs of air pressure a 10lb lauch is easy.

This is on stock brakes and converter.;)
