Hey Guys
How can I tell if the chips in my ecm are seated correctly. I know there are clips on the chips that wont allow you to put them in backwards but the ecm has been tampered with and who knows. Just want to make sure the chips are in correctly, I know there is a dot on the small chip which I think refers to 1 but how do I know location 1 is on the board? They both have a number 1 on the holder. The large chip number 1 lines up with what looks to be a white number 1 on the board. The smaller chip does not line up with a 1 on the board. I am not sure if the white 1 marked on the board refers to the location of number 1 on the chip or not. If anyone hads a good pic that would be great! I took a picture of mine and tried to insert it but NG...I hit the insert picture button but nothing.:frown:
