Hello! I just installed the whole 3.5" MAF, T+, 3" MAF pipe, 9" K&N, and Extender chip setup today. When I bought the car, it came with the 3" MAF pipe. I don't know if its been shortened or something, but it definitely wouldn't work as is. I had to use another short piece of 3" pipe and a scrap of the original accordion hose to get everything to line up correctly. Does anyone make a MAF pipe specifically for this combo? To complicate matters....I will be adding a TE45A very soon. I would like to try to run a 4" MAF pipe at that time. Does anyone make a 4" for this setup?? You can see my current setup here:

Thanks for looking!:D

I stayed witht the original MAF hose and just replaced the original MAF with the LT-1 MAF. Didn't need to cut anything, it all fit.

A company in Kansas City prolly makes what you're looking for: http://www.dctech-inc.com/

Where did you get your solid MAF tube?

It came with the car. I was told that it was made by Dan McDonald ("Grumpy").

Ditch the pipe and use a longer section of hose. Turbonetics is great source(costly though). Any regular maf pipe will work with the longer hoses. I also moved the connections to just inside the lip and clamped it there had enough room for everything. I plan on putting the maf in between the IC outlet and up pipe(a blow through instead of draw through). Still reading airflow, but should calculate the grams/sec value better than when the air is measured before it is compressed. A few have done it. Do a search and see what ideas you come up with.
