How do I jump the A/C Pressure switch?

Im trying to make some adjustments to my M/E Thumbwheel and i have to jump the pressure switch to make these adjustments.
Anyone know how to jump the A/C pressure switch to make adjustments on the Max Effort Thumbwheel?

If I'm not mistaken,unplug the senser from the plug and just jumper the two exposed metal ends together. Someone said once not to do it for a long time or you'll damage something. That's the best info I can give you. I needed to do that once to see if my ac compressor clutch worked.
