Besides getting a BRF valve body, governor and servo, do I need to do anything else? Would it be just as good as a BRF?

As you can probably tell I have a KCF trans and it is crap for my GN but I'd like to turn it into a BRF. Thanks

you need a wiring harness for the two pressure switches & tcc solenoid. Chris at CK may be able to fix you up.

I have a 4 wire harness going into the trans already, could that be the correct harness?

Make sure you get a BRF Valve body. I have a KCF tranny in mine right know and it has some really funky shift points.

LOLOL

Become David Copperfield!

LOL

Vb , gov, and servo, would be a start.

I figured out the answer! I've got a BRF with a cracked case on the way thanks to nickg. The only thing from the KCF will be the case but thats how you make a KCF into a BRF;)

Bruce,
Give it about 2 weeks and I will probably ship you a crate of parts with a help me note:) I've built a couple Chrysler 4 speed autos before and they actually ran when I was done so hopefully this will work. I've gotta get a manual though, I saw haynes had one so I guess I'll pick that one up. Thanks

Bruce,
Since I am going to have the whole thing apart I should do a rebuild kit. What do you suggest? I'll need all seals and gaskets besides clutches and bands. I was on your site and saw kit 222 and 224. Does 224 have the seals or just 222? Please let me know, I guess I'll be calling soon.
