How exactly do u remove the rear seat

I have tried removing the rear seat and cannot determine if it is stuck or not. Bottom line is I don't have any instructions and I am just pulling and feeling aroudn for things that feel as if they should come undone.

Is there a hook or catch I should be looking for?

I would like to install rear brace as well as install new carpet.

Yes, there is a hook/catch in the front. Climb in back, push the seat in the middle with your knees/hands inward and then upward. You should feel it come loose and then you will see the catch/hook. If the seat has never been removed it's a little tight.

If you need to remove the back part, there are 2 bolts in the floor holding it in via 2 metal tabs.
