How fast have you been on a Stock Crank .020 under?

Curious on this one as my motor will be finished late next week and the crank has to go 20 under and be bent back 3 thousandths.

This will be a mid 10 car on kill and low 11's on the street so I want to see how fast 20 unders have gone or if I should just get another standard crank and be safe.

Anyone ever go 30 under on the stocker?

v6beast has either a 20/20 or a 30/30 stock crank (can not remember) he has been 10.18.

I've been all over the low 10's with a best of 10.08 on a .020 under stock crank before a rod broke. The crank was still intact.
I believe Jason Cramer has gone 9.83 on a stock crank. I don't know if it was undersized or not.

Cool, thanks for the replies, I feel much better about this as I do not intend on getting 10.5's let alone low 10's on this 20 under crank.

Do you guys know a good bearing in an under 20?

What about the stock flexplate, timebomb in a mid to high 10 car?

We all know that ur combo is gonna put u in the 8's and the only thing stock in ur car is the ignition switch

RJC = 9.8 E.T. on a 20 under stock crank.

keep in mind, Jason's engine was not done by some flyby night machine shop. it all depends on the quality of machine work & assembly.
