We run 95 lbers and at 140 mph at 3450 we are at 60 percent duty cycle but we have a 235 inch motor i would say to be safe and have room incase of a bad fuel pump or low voltage i would say go bigger .

Yes, it can even be done with 83#'s at 3400 provided you have a good fuel system.
