How many quarts should a TH400 Take?

I am using a TH400 in my Firebird 3.8L project. It is from a truck, stock pan, 3200 stall tc. Everything is new to me, Brand new Stall, used, but drained, filter changed and refiled by me. I am also running an external transmission cooler(some cheap one)

Anyways, can anybody give me a ballpark on how much fluid is needed for the TH400??

My TH400, converter, and external trans cooler took around 8 qts.
