I have seen the value vary all over the place, from $25 each to $100. Right now though the centercaps are probably worth the same or more than the wheels ($45 new).

Seen some guy trying to get 800 bucks(buy it now) for a set with tires & only 3 center caps on ebay. That is crazy, I wonder if once the new Dukes of Hazzard comes out if people will be looking for these wheels to do a clone of the General Lee?

I was wondering that because i just bought a set and wanted to know the actual value of them. It took me forever to find these wheels. I also saw that guy trying to sell them on eBay for $800, that was nuts.

I will hang on to mine for awhile yet, plus I got a set of 86/87 T wheels....same thing but no black paint. $800 is unreal, but I guess if some sucker is going to pay that, then why not;)

yea im keeping mine on the car now. I like how they look.
Like you said, maybe they will go up in value after the movie.

Fellow Hot Air Men-GM only produced 4102 84/85 GN with the black wheels. I would belly up and pay price if you want to look original. Just my thoughts-Brad

i had 2 emails and alot of calls from werner bros about my rims for the movie and i didnt want to sell them because i don't have other rims to put on, or have my car on stands. plus they habe bfg's on the rims and i think they are lookibg for general's as the original car had.

there is a 69 charger for sale in my neiborhood that i am looking to buy to restore an IAM NOT GOING TO PAINT IT ORANGE!!!!!! though the doors are orange for some reason but its mostly in primer with alot of missing parts, but its rebuildable.

the center caps are availible from buick at $70 ea:eek:

Wheels

A couple of years ago I had some new tires put on my stock wheels. I've owned the car since June '85 and have never driven the car into any shop. I've always dropped the wheels off for the experts to work on and I've always been skeptical about doing that. Well my worst fears came true, when I picked up the wheels with new rubber on them, one of the wheels was cracked around the hub. They eventually fessed up to the damage, but I was pretty worried about being able to find a replacement. After about three months of searching, I found a set of four, for $100.00, and that included the shipping and handling, so they're out there. You just have to keep looking.
