I'm running 22# right now. Can i safely go to 24-25 # on denatured.

Car runs strong no knock no issues with anything at this point. I figured 22# would be enough, but i'm having to much fun. I here the sweet spot on my turbo is 25# so i would like to run that on the street. ;)

Or should i leave well enough alone before I pop a head gasket.

I've seen 25 with no knock and decent o2's on denatured..sure there are others who've run more !!!

Ditto. Altho the more boost you run, the more alky.. the more expense.. the more stress on drivetrain, the greater the urge to buy a bigger turbo/cam/heads, etc.. never ends..

Once you hit 30 PSI..its all downhill... cuase you'll refuse to drive the car at less boost. And will do anything to keep it together, and keep experiencing the rush.

:D

PS, its like turning the boost back down to 16 once your at 22.. aint gonna happen ;)

I second that very strongly. The only thing that turns the boost down on my car is the weather. At 90 or above 27,28,29 psi- below 80 30,31,32,33. It is very addictive. My car has an unopened engine and it is very different from going 25-26 psi to 30. The DR's slip at a 70mph kick with 22psi in them. That is torque! I"ll back it down some this fall. Have been thinking about going to a 45A or 70-p trim. The PAC has totally amazed me with its ability to 100% stop the knock. I run the gain @ 75% and still have the first 5gal of meth I bought six months ago. Bout half way through it. Have for ever more burnt some 93  at 2.30/gal. Better than 6.00 for 116 and probably cooler air charge. My car is in great tune with no issues. Dont attempt these cylinder pressures if you know there is slack in the tune of your motor.

What kind of 1/4 performance are we talking if you don't mind sharing. I got to tell ya when my motor was stock and close to your setup but a t34 turbo and stock injectors/converter and pump gas back in the 90's my best 1/4 on true street tires was high 11's at 115 mph but 93 pump was better than because I could run 19 lbs. of boost through those two stock intercoolers that I welded together.
