How much boost?

i just got a pair of those street slicks how much boost do you guys think i should be able to leave the line with?

Its depends on you mods and what your brakes can hold.

im running the original brakes they're in good condition and hold the car stiff at about 5 never was able to go any higher without the wheels spinning

Well 5psi launch is not enough to get a good 60ft. Do you brakes (softer bigger shoes in the rear and the S-10 wheel cylinders) you should be able to hold between 8-12lbs of boost at the line.
