How much for lower door skins

How much and where can i get lower door skins? I didnt realize fixing a door is so much trouble.

Stupid question but what are door skins? The bottoms of both doors of my '86 GN are showing rust, but not all the way through, will door skins help me? Thanks.

Sherman Associates and Postons along with a few others sell the 'bottom door patch panels'. My body shop installed the driver side and it looks real good!! Waiting on the passenger side to get done. Sure beats the stupid money people are asking for "NOS" skins!!

Hey, I got a bad driver's door, I quoted both doors back rust free in primer and they told me1200bucks! That was with me getting the patches. What did you get charged?

Can't say really. I got quoted for the whole car, including paint. That price seems way high though for the work involved. I would shop around and you'll get a better idea on what the 'average' price should be. Post back on the lowest price so others will get an 'idea' of about what it costs for just the doors. Unless someone else has had just the doors done???
