full weight car mid day approx 70-74 degrees I could not get my rjc boost controller past 24 pounds
how much more boost to break into the 9's

i went 10.29@133.4mph at 28.5psi. 1.59 60', 3600+lbs. With a good 60' like a 1.42 and 30psi it would have went 9.92-9.95. That was on a tired stock bottom end. I had the boost at 33psi for about 3 months before the #1 piston failed. What valve springs are you running? What lift?

Bison I do not know the specs of the springs. They are beehive. The heads complete with roller rockers came from Don Polumbo's TSM combo below is a copy and paste of cam card
intake .5511 with the 1.65 rocker
exhaust .5643 with the 1.65 rocker

I could not launch hard at renyolds I'm not sure why. I have 60' at the tb.com nationals 1.4 and only broke traction twice that weekend. 3 questions


has anyone run the 1/4 quicker with full weight car and same turbo ?
how much more is to be gained with a proper launch 1.4 60'
does this 1 tenth per 100 lbs apply still ? I have heard that years ago.
