How much oil to add to the system

I will be installing a new AC compressor, accumulator/receiver dryer and orifice into my 1987 GN. How much oil do I have to add to the system. I am still using R12. Thank you for any information on adding oil to the AC system.

I believe it is 3 oz in the compressor and then suck 3 into the lines during charging.

I just put 6 oz of oil in the compressor as that is where it is needed and used anyway since it contains the only internal moving parts in the AC system!
