Swapped my stock 140 amp alternator for a powermaster. New alternator doesn't have the green post for driving the tach. Can I drive the tach from teh powermaster, or is there another way to get a tach reading?

Thanks,
DGC

hows about pulling it from the tach lead behind the alternator on the main engine harness , theres two connectors taped ton the harness , one is the fuel prime the other has two wires to one connector ..that is the tach feed
its the one with the male spade on it (need a female spade to connect)

otherwise you can grab it under the dash at the stock tach module connector
or even right off the ignition module at the white wire (IP tach feed at pin E ), its the 5th wire forward from firewall .
