I'm looking into an 85 grand national. I want to know the easiest way to get it into the mid 12's. I'll use an intercooler if it makes it easier (which I would guess it would) thanks for any info.
doing one of the two will get you enough power for 12's,they will both need the usual supporting mods.

i'm probably forgetting a few things, but that's the basics.the nice thing is that if you go one way or the other and are happy with that for a while you can add the other later and go faster.i'll be adding ported heads/intake/cam to my intercooled package hopefully this winter.
tell ya what,i'll trade you for some lt1 info.my friend just bought a 94 z28 and he wants to juice it.if you could give me the same basic rundown i gave you but the lt1 version it would be greatly appreciated.
as for vendors,i'd go to jack cotton for the basics.
he's a great guy and a good mechanic/tuner but you may have to bear with him if you ask too many questions about hotairs.really not very many folks around that know too many specifics about them.he can get you the vast majority of the listed parts and help you tune once they're installed.we'll help you too.
well, is he looking for a wet or dry kit? and how much of a shot? And how much hp does he have now? That's a start. I will also need fuel mods/ignition mods already done if any. thanks. If this will be easier done through email then it's boostedlt1@aol.com
What kind of work do you want to do to go that fast? You could probably go as fast with alcohol injection as you can with an intercooler. With less plumbing hung all over the place too. Tuning is what will get you there with a hot air.
