I am working on getting my valve body put back in my trans. It had some calibretion work done at a previous time but I'm not sure what shift kit was in it. I have head of trans-go kits that have different valves in them. Do other kits change out any of the valves? If so does anyone have measurements of the stock valves that could have been changed out so I can confirm that I have the origional valves in mine?

is there a differnnt low range valve installed with a hoe drilled thru the casting that dumps gov oil?is there an orifice instaled in the gov passage in the seperator plate

Are we talking bout valve #333 as shown in picture 6C-21 in your book? Mine looks just like the picture and I don't see any extra holes in the casting in the area of that valve train. So I think I'm in good shape.

To identify an the older trans-go kit, it should be easy as it has holes drilled through the valvebody.

The newer one doesn't drill holes in valvebody and omits some checkballs, puts an aluminum plug in one of the separator plate holes, enlarges some of the separator plate holes, puts a new spring on one of the valves in valvebody, uses a .500 boost valve and new spring in pump, installs shims on servo pin and comes with new springs for the accumulators.
