How to ID a true GNX?

I went to look at a GNX today but the car is a mess! It has the dash, rear cover, ladder bar and x member. The brackets on the inner fenderwells were there (the ones for the relays and such) the louvers are there but there is 2 fender flares missing. the intercooler, turbo and shroud are also missing. The ASC sticker is missing from the door, it's a repaint and it was wrecked in 03 and has been sitting since. This car is in BAD shape

Is there any way i can id this car to make sure it's a true GNX? Can i buy orginal parts to restore it or are they obsolete?

Sounds like you have a nice find.

Only way to be 100% sure is the VIN#.

You can email the VIN# to gnxregistry@yahoo.com and ask if its for a real GNX, he will be able to tell you.

As far as the parts go, you can get them but be ready to pay BIG$ for them.

The emissions sticker on the blower/heater cover will have asc inc on it.

If both stickers are gone I would pass if you r dead on a GNX all original
